Maryland Box Lacrosse

Maryland Box Lacrosse is excited to launch the first official Box Lacrosse Travel Teams in Maryland. The MBL Teams will be coached by the top Box Lacrosse Coaches in the country. Founded by former NLL players and Current NLL coaches. Players will have the chance to compete against the top Clubs in the country this winter.

How it works

The MBL program will offer a unique spin on the traditional travel model. In order to join, Players will have to participate in tryouts this October. Directors and players will select 30-40 players to participate in the Training Program. Players who are selected for the training program will be offered a spot to compete for a roster spot on the Blue or White team. All players will then compete for a spot and playing time on the Blue and White team. Directors and Coaches will be responsible for selecting rosters for each tournament. Tournament Teams will have a minimum of 10 players and no more than 18 (Excluding Goalies) “Runners” and field the best teams possible.

What to Expect

Bi-weekly training Starting in September

• 1.5 hour training w/ Pro Coaching Staff

  • Box Specific training designed by Professional Coaches and Players

  • Designed to evelate players skills and IQ.

• 3 tournaments - Dec, Jan, Feb

• Blue and White Teams

  • White - VA Beach, Fusion, NXT

  • Blue - Team 91 Box Event, Columbus, OH, MadLax

• Players will receive - Jersey, Shorts, Shooter

  • Helmets, Gloves, additional swag available

• Summer USBOXLA Nationals

  • 2034/35: 1:00 - 2:00 PM

  • 2033: 2:00 - 3:00 PM

  • 2032: 3:00 - 4:00 PM

  • 2031: 4:00 - 5:00 PM

  • 2030: 5:00 - 6:00 PM

  • 2029: 6:00 - 7:00 PM

• Evaluation Cost: $50

Pricing Model

The players' evaluation fee will go towards the “membership” fee, which covers all practices, coaches, uniforms, and additional expenses. Once players are placed on teams, there will be an additional cost depending on the number of players and availability for events. Example of payment plan below:

• Membership Fee: $350 - 400

• Blue Team: $350

• White Team $350
